After our little stopover at the bakery and the cafe from my last travel report, we started our way to the Zion National Park.
On this day we had no luck with the weather because it began to rain heavily.
We drove about 15 min after, crossing the entrance to reach the center of the Park with the official parking lots.
From there, you can start you explorations to the different trails of the park. You can use the free shuttle bus to come quickly around.

Amazing landscape and vegetation in the park. For the beginners, the Emerald Pools Trail and the Riverside Walk, where you can walk to The Narrows, are perfect. If you have no problems with a longer hike, i would highly recommend to take the Angels Landing trail to get a great view over the park.
An hour after arrival the weather began to get better.
Nevertheless, some hiking trails were still locked and so we could not enter the for example the "Angels Landing" trail.
After two hours of hiking we decided to find a restaurant because it was already 4PM and we were very hungry.
In the nearby village of Springdale we found some good eating places.
Now we were on the road again and drove 420 km / 260 miles to our today's destination, Las Vegas.
4 hours later we reached our booked hotel, the Hooters Casino Hotel.
It was not really important to us which hotel we took, because it was only for one night.

On the next day we started at around 11AM, to drive to the Death Valley.
